Getting to Arura Group Stays

Getting to Arura Group Stays, Port Hughes, is an easy and pleasant two hour trip from northern Adelaide. Ideally sited on the Yorke Peninsula and overlooking the spectacular Spencer Gulf we are approximately 160 kilometres by road from the Adelaide GPO.

Head out on to the Port Wakefield Road north to Port Wakefield (a great spot to stop for a quick coffee). Just north of Port Wakefield, leave highway one and take the Copper Coast Highway to Paskeville, site of Australia’s largest field days. Once past the field days site, turn left at the sign to “Moonta and Port Hughes”.

In Moonta the main street, George Street, leads past the picturesque Queen Square to the junction of the Port Hughes and Moonta Bay roads. Take the Port HughesRoad some 4 kilometres to the township. Our site borders the main Port Hughes Road, so watch for the Arura sign on the left and enter the property from Uffindell street.

Time to unpack! You have arrived at Adelaide’s northern playground!
